Non Profit Audits

If your nonprofit organization expends more than $750,000 per year in federal grants, then a Single Audit (also known as an A-133 audit) is required. The purpose of this audit is to provide assurance to the U.S. government that the funds distributed to your organization are being properly spent on programming and in other areas. Each year organizations are required to undergo an audit by an independent Certified Public Accounting firm and submit the results of the audit to the federal government. JLK Rosenberger works with dozens of nonprofits receiving such funding to conduct their annual financial statement and A-133 audit. We have significant experience performing Single Audits for a variety of nonprofits including local organizations to large, national organizations. Primarily, we focus on serving charitable entities, professional associations, public interest organizations, educational groups, foundations and veteran groups located in California. Clients turn to us for assistance because of our focus on the nonprofit industry. Partners, professionals and staff receive continuous training on the latest rules, regulations and audit techniques to facilitate a more effective audit process. Our professionals understand how to conduct an effective and efficient audit focusing only on areas required by guidelines and regulations.
