NAIC SAPWG Accounting Update Matrix, Spring 2023 Meeting

We attended the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) Spring 2023 Meeting. To the left, you will find a recap of items brought before the Statutory Accounting Principles Working Group (SAPWG) as part of that meeting. In addition to the matrix provided by the NAIC, Michael Goni and I included commentary on each item and categorized by high, moderate, and low priority based on their potential impact to insurers.

The next meeting is scheduled for August in Seattle. Look for a newly updated matrix a few weeks after the meeting.
