Randall Evans joined TDI as the Associate Commissioner of Customer Operations January 2020. As Deputy Commissioner, Randall oversees various operational programs including Licensing of Agent, Agency, Life Broker and Adjuster Licensing; Continuing Education; Consumer Complaints for Life and Health and Property Casualty; Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) program; and TDI Disaster Response.
Prior to joining TDI, Randall served as Deputy Commissioner of the Indiana Department of Insurance (IDOI) Agency Services Division, Director of Medical Malpractice and Director of Title Insurance.
Randall’s career in Insurance spans 25 years and includes various roles working with Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on the Federal Medicare program; WellPoint (Anthem) as a National Accounts Project Manager and Business Transition Specialist.
Randall received the Warren E. Spruill Regulator Recognition Award from the Securities and Insurance Licensing Association (SILA). The award recognizes a state insurance licensing officer who demonstrates a special ability and outstanding performance in promoting better regulatory processes, efficiencies and better relationships between the regulator and the industry.
Randall is an Air Force Veteran, youngest of three, proud father of two sons, Grandfather of five, and husband of an adoring wife, Debbie.
