Robert first joined TDI in 2013 as a Financial Analyst monitoring the solvency, risks, and business practices of Texas licensed insurance companies. He later transferred to TDI’s Company Licensing and Registration Office as the Admissions Officer and subsequently became Director. As director of TDI’s Company Licensing and Registration office, he was ultimately responsible for reviewing and approving all insurance companies and HMOs seeking a Texas license. In 2021, Robert became the Director of Compliance and Licensing for ReAlign Insurance Holdings and its subsidiary insurance companies, Summit Specialty Insurance Company, American Summit Insurance Company, and National Summit Insurance Company until 2023. In late 2023 he returned to TDI as a Captives Specialist in charge of licensing and continued monitoring and oversight of all Texas domiciled captive insurance companies.
