Maria Vigul, CPA
Maria’s reputation for taking the bull by the horns is well deserved. After immigrating from Russia on her own, she initially planned to become an English translator before discovering her passion for accounting in college. That determination has shaped her career ever since.
With more than 15 years of accounting experience, including the last 10 years specializing in auditing property and casualty and life and health insurance entities, Maria has become a trusted advisor to insurance companies navigating complex financial reporting and regulatory requirements. Her ascent at JLK Rosenberger was swift. Within one year, she was leading large insurance audit engagements, and within two years, she was elected President of the Southern California Chapter of the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association (IASA), serving multiple terms before joining the California Chapter IASA Board. She also previously served as Board Vice President of CalCPA’s Los Angeles Chapter.
