Texas DOI Allows Emailed Annual Statements

The Texas Department of Insurance announced today that all insurance companies and health maintenance organizations can now file 2019 annual statements by email to statements@tdi.texas.gov. Companies still have the option to mail filings to the Texas Department of Insurance.

Texas domestic insurer’s filing should be submitted with separate attachment for the financial statements and each of the supplemental documents. Foreign insurers’s filing should be submitted with separate attachments for the signed jurat page and each of the supplemental documents. All insurers should include their company name in the subject line with one email per entity. Emails are limited to 25 MB, larger filing should be zipped or sent in multiple emails. Confirmations will be sent upon receipt of filings.
